STUDENT VOLUNTEER PROGRAM

Students–

You are a unique and special generation. You are more interested in acting than preaching your faith. We at Nehemiah’s Vision desire to give you the mission experience that helps put your faith in action with those who need it most.

One of the ladies whose home was damaged by Hurricane Ike described her student volunteer heroes. That description summarizes it well. True heroes are those with the right heart sacrificially helping others.

You probably don’t picture yourself as a hero.  You might say, “I’m just too, too…well, ordinary.”  But, quiet heroes dot the landscape of our society. If you doubt it, check out the Bible. Scripture is a scrapbook of unusual ordinary folks who put their faith in action. David, Joseph, and Mary are just a few.

Nehemiah’s Vision gives you, the student, the opportunity to have a mission trip you’ll never forget.  You may think you don’t have the experience to help those who faced such devastation, but be assured you are needed and will be placed in a role of responsibility that makes a difference. Your help is crucial, as it has been for the more than 10,000 volunteers that have already restored over 700 homes.
