It can happen at any time.
It can happen to anyone.

Hurricanes, tornadoes, fires, floods, earthquakes and a myriad of other disasters can slam into our lives in an instant. When they strike, most of the focus is on the physical damage. But, hidden within the rubble and destruction is the shattered hope and dreams of families as they face the shock and sorrow of lost possessions, livelihood, and even loved ones. For many, their lives then turn into a continuing nightmare as they discover their insurance company refuses to pay, goes bankrupt or agrees to pay only a fraction of what’s needed. Many are elderly or infirmed. Their hearts cry out: “Why me?” “Where’s God?”
These are the people Nehemiah’s Vision ministers to!
Nehemiah’s Vision, is a 503(c) non-profit ministry formed to help those most in need who have experienced the devastating effects of catastrophic disasters. Since 2005 it has shouted Christ’s love as it restored hundreds of homes and churches. With the aid of over ten thousand volunteers, more than eight million dollars in repairs has been completed.
As Nehemiah’s Vision rebuilds, the families of the damaged homes experience hope again as they witness Christ’s love-in-action. The volunteers’ lives change as they experience the joy of serving those in need. And communities become recharged as they witness the unselfishness of the volunteer teams.
Their “Where’s God?” turns to “Why do you do this?”
That’s a question we love answering!
The only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love. Galatians 5:6
