Faith is more than a concept. It’s a verb. It’s about action!  Unselfish faith-in-action reaches within our hearts and refreshes. It ripples out and touches believers and non-believers more than mere words can.   

Nehemiah’s Vision ministry is based on the conviction that Jesus Christ instructed us to love and care for one another. While words of love can be soothing, true love is a love that shouts–it is love in action.

As a Christian you are an agent of Christ- an envoy. And as His envoy, you were given a special mission: “For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” Ephesians 2:10 

While repairing and rebuilding the recipients of the aid, their families, neighbors and communities all witness faith and love in action. When they see the many volunteers reach out to help someone they don’t even know, the first question they ask is “Why”. It’s a question we love to answer. 

Nehemiah’s Vision’s volunteer program is also designed to help reactivate the faith of those that have fallen into the trap of busyness and spiritual numbness. As they give of themselves the joy of reflecting Christ’s love overtakes them and their enthusiasm for the Church, its work and missions is magnified.
